You can enable address validation for a tenant by going to Settings > General Settings. Here, you will find an Address Validation section that allows you to turn on our default address validation functionality during checkout on the storefront and in the admin.
You can also select the Allow Invalid Address check box. When you turn it on, Mozu will allow input of invalid addresses (according to USPS). If you leave this function turned off, Mozu will display an error message for an invalid address and require the user to correct it before proceeding.
Address validation is also available when building custom applications in Dev Center. If a tenant installs and enables an application that implements a custom address validation service, Mozu will apply the external address validation functionality during checkout on the storefront and in Mozu Admin.
We currently offer an integration with Avalara that provides advanced address validation functionality. For more details, see our website
